Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have marked their third wedding anniversary today, as fans from around the world took to social media to send well wishes and congratulations.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex tied the knot in front of millions of viewers back in 2018 at St George’s Chapel on the grounds of Windsor Castle, London.

However, despite a flurry of social media activity to mark their anniversary, the official accounts for the royal family did not mention it for the second year in a row.
The royal couple stepped down from their positions as senior working members of the family early last year, and moved with their son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, 2, to live in Montecito, California.

And instead of wishing a happy wedding anniversary to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the official royal family social media accounts used the moment to announce that the Queen’s granddaughter, Princess Beatrice, is pregnant.
Social media users were quick to draw parallels between Wednesday’s announcement of Princess Beatrice’s pregnancy, and the announcement that Meghan Markle was pregnant with Archie — which was made on the day of Beatrice’s sister, Princess Eugenie’s wedding.
The move prompted some people on social media to call it “karma.” Royal authors Dylan Howard and Andy Tillett wrote in their book Royals at War that Princess Eugenie and her mother, Sarah Ferguson, were “furious” at the time over what was a “huge…gaffe.”
While the British royal family opted not to mark the day for the power couple, their supporters did not miss the opportunity to celebrate their love on social media. Many messages were posted on the different social networking sites.

Earlier this year, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced that they are expecting their second child this summer.
Prince Harry revealed they were expecting a girl when he and Meghan Markle sat down with Oprah Winfrey for a shocking TV interview back in March.
And now he is preparing to launch a new mental health series with Oprah which will be available on Apple TV+. The Oprah interview complicated the prince’s relationship with his family.
And when things started to calm down, Meghan Markle’s husband went on a podcast and said more bad things about his family. He blamed them for his pain and he has vowed to change things for the next generation.
Critics say that Harry will not stop talking because his interviews have kept him in the news, which is great for business.
