After actor Jamie Foxx was recently seen on two separate occasions without his girlfriend, Katie Holmes, a wave of fresh speculations erupted suggesting that the two of them might have broken up.
First, Foxx appeared at an event in Atlantic City on Thursday in the company of his good friend, Michael B. Jordan — and when Holmes was not seen nearby, the Oscar-winning comedian was asked if everything was going okay with his relationship.
To this, Foxx responded that he was going to meet his girlfriend in New Jersey for the opening of the Ocean Resort Casino.
However, just a few days later, the 50-year-old actor was seen partying at the E11EVEN club accompanied by his pal, singer Jason Derulo.
The two of them appeared at the establishment in a luxurious Rolls Royce convertible and sat at one of the VIP tables.
However, no females were spotted around the actor, and he reportedly tried to keep a low profile while attending the party with his group of about ten people.
During the evening a lot of other stars appeared at the club as well, with rapper 2 Chainz performing on the stage and Diplo taking the place of the DJ.
Jonathan “Foodgod” Cheban showed up at the place too, and he was seen having a good time and laughing with friends.
Since then, the first rumors about a potential breakup between Foxx and Holmes started circulating on social media but were quickly dismissed by insiders close to the ex-wife of legendary movie star Tom Cruise.
Foxx and Holmes have dated for about five years and never made things public because the Dawson’s Creek star reportedly had a post-divorce agreement with her daughter, Suri Cruise‘ father.
The contract stated that she could not date anyone officially for at least five years otherwise she was set to lose a lot of money.
