North Korea Is Removing Anti-America Propaganda After Kim Jong-Un And Donald Trump Summit

It seems that North Korea has chosen a new direction with respect to its attitude towards the United States.

Not too long ago, authorities were constantly depicting the United States as an enemy and posters with slogans saying America was a nation not to be trusted were a common theme.

For many years, the USA was being represented by the endless propaganda as an unscrupulous aggressor, whose number one priority was to crush the totalitarian country.

North Korea probably takes the first place when it comes to isolation in comparison to any other nation. A very small part of its citizens have access to the Internet or are aware of what is going on with the rest of the world.

Therefore, the propaganda on the streets has an enormous impact on setting the views of the population in North Korea.

However, everything changed dramatically after the summit between the President of the United States Donald Trump and the leader of North Korea Kim Jong-un took place on June 12.

Since the official meeting between the two leaders, the propaganda against America is now a thing of the past.

Instead, popular themes for the posters in the capital Pyongyang are now vouching for peace and Korean reunification.

Besides the change in the posters and cards hanging around the country, there is a difference in the media as well.

One of the most popular newspapers in North Korea has stopped with its attacks against Mr. Trump since news about their eventual summit broke out in March.

The same thing is also happening in America, and Trump supporters are now embracing the rogue nation. Some have even gone as far as paying tribute to North Korea.

Moreover, Trump has shown more deference to the Asian strongman than to allies like Canada.

The Trump administration believes that North Korea is an area where a clear win is within reach.
