The happy couple Jenni and Timmy Gibson finally said “I do” to each other at the wedding altar in May after a 10-year-long relationship.
However, during the ceremony, the young fruit of their love, 6-year-old Lexi could not help herself and cried, overwhelmed with happiness.
The beautiful event took place at Harpor’s Vineyard in Iowa on May 12. Many of the couple’s closest friends and family gathered together to celebrate the happy occasion.
While the bride and the groom were exchanging their vows, many of the guests turned their attention to the couple’s daughter, Lexi, who was crying without consolation.
Lexi’s mother opened up and talked about her wedding, saying at one point, she heard people talking about how her daughter was sobbing.
Naturally, the mother was worried about what was going on with her child and asked her the reason for her tears.
The little girl’s answer was quite touching, as she explained to Jenni that she was crying because she was happy and everything at the wedding was so beautiful.
Some memorable photos of the ceremony show Lexi crying while standing next to her 8-year-old sister, Riley, and another friend of hers.
Another picture shows Lexi being comforted by her friend and the two of them hugging each other.
The happy mother described the photos as very touching and valuable for her. Jenni explained she was overwhelmed with emotions during that memorable day and did not realize how important the moment was for Lexi.
Besides being the parents of Lexi and Riley, the couple also shares a 2-year-old son, Lincoln.
The newlyweds started dating when they were 16. The bride shared, “This was something well worth waiting for because I couldn’t imagine my wedding day without my children to share it with.”
It seems that the moment was extraordinary for everyone involved.
